Program Director

Our Client, the Electronic Stewardship Association of B.C., represents both brand name manufacturers and retailers of electronics products and is responsible for regulated end of life recycling in the province.

The scope of the program has recently been expanded by the provincial government to include recycling an even wider range of items creating the need for a Program Director to oversee the effectiveness and integrity of the process which involves some $20 million in expenditures.

Reporting to the Chair of the Board of ESABC, the program director will build a team to manage operational work and contracts with various third party vendors, including collectors, transporters, consolidators and primary processors.

Qualified candidates will be achievement oriented team players with relevant business education and at least five to ten years combined experience in senior management roles in both regulated, not-for profit entities as well as distribution, collection or recycling logistics operations. Superb written, verbal and listening communication skills as well competence in the use of business office and decision support software are also essential.
